Iiro Rantala string trio의 Karma를 듣고 어두운 공간에 아주 천천히 빛이 새어 들어오는 장면이 떠올랐다. 이를 표현하기 위해 우선 음악에서 느껴지는 색으로 색면추상을 그린 뒤, 그를 토대로 스테인드글라스를 제작하였다. 그리고 이를 여러 층으로 세워서 깊은 유리를 지나 빛이 들어오는 모습을 이미지로 남기고자 하였다.
Listening to Karma by Iiro Rantala string trio, I remembered a scene where light slowly leaked into a dark space. To express this, I first drew a color field painting with the color felt in the music, and then made stained glass based on it. And by putting it in several layers, it made the appearance of light coming through the deep glass.
